Bayeux | sex offender does not give address, six months in prison

A fifty-year-old man was judged on Wednesday January 31, 2017 by the High Court of Caen (Calvados) for not having provided proof of his address, between Tuesday November 1 and Sunday December 18, 2016 in Bayeux (Calvados).

The man being registered in the file of perpetrators of sexual offenses, he had the obligation to do so.

Alain Castel, aged 50, did not appear at the hearing on Tuesday January 31, 2017 at the high court of Caen (Calvados) where he was judged for failure to justify his address as a repeat offender, as the courts had ordered him to do.

The individual being registered in the file of perpetrators of sexual offenses, he had the obligation to do so.

Serious mentions in his criminal record

His criminal record includes six mentions, some of which are very serious: rape by ascendant, violence against a minor, violence while drunk, driving while under the influence of alcohol, refusal to submit to the breathalyzer test, failure to provide proof of address, etc.

It seems that the defendant has marginalized himself, living in a garage with a partner convicted of the same type of offense.

He was sentenced to 6 months in prison.
